If you are planning a trip away then the last thing you want to worry about is the security of your home whilst you are away. There are many things you can do to improve the security of your home, some as simple and easy others may be a little more complex and costly.

If you usually hide a key somewhere outside, be sure to move this before you go away. There are a huge number of CCTV systems on the market and they range in price from £30 upwards to a few thousand pounds for the most advanced. IF you do have CCTV try and make sure that it is backed up whilst you are away as there is no point in having it if the evidence can be destroyed easily.
