CCTV is a great security feature to have in and outside of your home. It can not only catch criminals in the act but also acts really well as a deterrent. There are a number of different CCTV systems that you can choose from ranging in price from around £30 for one camera upwards of a thousand pounds for an all singing all dancing system with multiple cameras.  

CCTV needs to be positioned in the correct place to ensure that it captures the right images but also that it is easily seen. It should be positioned in a place that can be seen from the roadside but not easily accesses. Often the higher up it is installed, then better. You do also need to consider what it is going to record as if the camera is pointing on to a neighbour’s property or across the road then you may have to reposition it.
