If you are holding an event then you may need to consider if you require security. Most events on a large scale require some sort of security regardless of what the event actually is and some smaller events do too.

If you are having a birthday party and have hired a local hall, you may need to hire security to avoid people entering the venue who have not been invited, sometimes this may be family or friends or you may decide to call in an outside company.

Even if your event does not require security as it is open to the public and anyone can walk in and out, the guests that you have at the event may require what’s known as close protection. Close protection is also known as a body guard and rather than standing at a door way or entrance, they will flowing the person they are protecting ensuring that they come to no harm.
