Lockheed Martin has entered into an agreement — called an Undefinitized Contract Action — with the U.S. Government for the Foreign Military Sale of the primary two of 25 potential C-130J Super Hercules airlifters for the dominion of Saudi Arabia. US, Canada partner to upgrade Canadian howitzer

The Canadian Royal Army has enlisted assistance from Picatinny engineers to guage the life-span in their World War II-era C3 Howitzer. “We are trying to find engineering data that, unfortunately, we’re missing immediately,” said Canadian Army Maj. David Lebel, Equipment Management team leader for Field Artillery Systems. Brazil aims to construct advanced fighter jets with Russia

Brazil said Wednesday it hopes to develop state-of-the-art combat aircraft with Russia, and buy surface-to-air missile batteries from Moscow. Brasilia is already in talks with other countries to modernize its air force by purchasing 36 fighter jets worth as much as $5 billion. Smarter robots likely in Army’s future, planners say

Unmanned robots have already got proven their worth at the battlefield, neutralizing improvised explosive devices, and more capable ones are coming someday, consistent with the commander of U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command.
