US Army and Lockheed Complete Advanced Autonomous Convoy Demonstration

The U.S. Army Tank-Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC) and Lockheed Martin have demonstrated the facility of fully autonomous convoys to function in urban environments with multiple vehicles of other models. The demonstration earlier this month at Fort Hood, Texas, was portion of the military and Marine Corps’ Autonomous Mobility Applique System (AMAS) program, and marked the completion of the program’s Capabilities Advancement Demonstration (CAD). Saudi Arabia Orders 2 KC-130J Refueling Tankers

Lockheed Martin has entered into an agreement — called an Undefinitized Contract Action — with the U.S. Government for the Foreign Military Sale of the primary two of 25 potential C-130J Super Hercules airlifters for the dominion of Saudi Arabia. US, Canada partner to upgrade Canadian howitzer

The Canadian Royal Army has enlisted assistance from Picatinny engineers to guage the life-span in their World War II-era C3 Howitzer. “We are trying to find engineering data that, unfortunately, we’re missing immediately,” said Canadian Army Maj. David Lebel, Equipment Management team leader for Field Artillery Systems.
