Helmet cameras

Often helmet cameras were only used where sports people wanted to record stunts or bike rides they were doing for public viewing or for their own person enjoyment. Recently CCTV for cars and bikers has become more and more popular and is proving to be very successful.

There have been a number of incidents recently that have been recorded on the helmet of a bier showing what has happened during a traffic accident. This footage has often been vital in court where dangerous driving has needed to be proved.

In a recent story a biker in Telford videoed a taxi driver driving the wrong way down a duel carriageway. The footage was able to be passed on to the taxi company for them to investigate which driver it was and carry out the appropriate action. Simply having a camera on your helmet can be enough to deter dangerous driving and avoid accidents form happening.
